Tune in to FM at Anglia Polytechnic University, Friday 10th June 2005

Following the success of the first Tune in to FM 2005 seminar at the Ministry of Defence (see article) on Friday 8th April, FSI (FM Solutions) Ltd would like to invite you to the next seminar in the series.

Tune in to FM at Anglia Polytechnic University on Friday 10th June 2005 will continue where the Ministry of Defence seminar ended - to explore the science and processes that makes Facilities Management increasingly a bottom line benefit to end users.

Now in its second year, the free seminar series, created by FSI, brings together a number of industry keynote speakers, discussing the latest developments within the industry, to delegates from a range of user sectors, and encourages dialogue and best practice.

The 2004 seminars were held at The London Stock Exchange, Sheffield Hallam University and Landflex, and drew attendance figures far greater than we had hoped for the first year of a seminar series available in the FM marketplace.  The 2005 seminars promise to continue this success.

Speakers for the seminar on Friday 10th June 2005, at Anglia Polytechnic University, to discuss Facilities Management in the public arena are:

  • Keith Simpson, Housing maintenance specialist - best practice for local authorities and housing associations in meeting the housing repairs challenge, and the opportunities that now exist for maintenance service providers following the government target that has been set to bring all social housing into a decent condition by 2010 (see article)
  • Sandy Lynam, Director at Anglia Polytechnic University - the use of Concept™ in the University environment
  • David Emanuel, Director at i-fm.net - the work of i-fm.net in Facilities Management
  • Rachel MacDonald, Director of Facilities Management at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Trust - how Rachel has managed to juggle her full-time role while studying for a DBA (Facilities & Property Management) at Sheffield Hallam University

You will also have the opportunity to address the speakers regarding their related fields of expertise, as well as to discuss the use of Concept™ at site with your fellow delegates in attendance, in the closing lunch/networking session.

Book early to avoid disappointment!
